The loot seems to consist of 9 items of which one is armor(45b 15l) ,helmet(45 armor),helmet (45 armor) and rest are a random selection of food/misc/low tier weapons.(could use verification ,but this seemed the case after about 15 tries).You will fight the wights right after you try to leave Ruins of Cray,there is no army anymore.Fight is relativley easy you should not need more than 50 men.(but still note that you will lose strength and agility if you fail to defeat the wights or you fall in battle).After 6.0 (need to verify exact version).(If you are playing a version older than 1.3 ,then you can dodge, if not then fighting them is required.).
